Type "F" Thread Cutting Screws

TYPE F:  A thread cutting screw that has machine screw threading with tapered blunt point and multi-cutting edges.  Use with aluminum, brass, cast iron, heavy gauge sheet metal, lead die castings, zinc, and plastics.
 
Designed to cut or form its own thread in an untapped hole.   (= ASA-F)
